Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Teematy ("we", "us") collects and uses your personal data when you visit or make a purchase from our store. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data controller

The data controller is the operator of the Teematy store, based in Warsaw, Poland. Contact: teematyposters@gmail.com.

What we collect

  • Order data: name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number, products ordered and payment confirmation. We never see or store full card numbers; payments are processed by our payment providers.
  • Custom order files: photos or artwork you send us for personalized products, used only to produce your order.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, and cookies that keep the cart working and help us understand how the store is used.
  • Marketing data: your email address, if you sign up for our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Why we process it

  • To fulfil your order and provide customer support — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To meet tax and accounting obligations — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • To improve the store and prevent fraud — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • To send marketing emails — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Who we share it with

Your data is shared only with the service providers needed to run the store: Shopify (our e-commerce platform), payment providers, shipping carriers and email services. Some providers may process data outside the EEA; such transfers are protected by EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice data is kept for the period required by Polish tax law (currently five years from the end of the tax year). Custom-order files are deleted after the order is completed and the return window has passed. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
